What would be the hardest thing to change about yourself?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 30, 2009:
The hardest thing(s) to change are the things that I am not even aware of, the unconscious patterns of addiction and attachment that hurt me and hurt others. That is why we all need spiritual teachers, mentors, coaches who truly see us and lovingly guide us through the change our souls want and need. Then, there is still the courageous and hard work ahead to make the changes, but it is much easier when we know we are held in love and acceptance whether we are successful or not.

Help

Hi, Michael, I've been through those changes and I know what a heart wrenching job it is. It's just plain hard, no matter how they cut it up into little pieces to make it easier to swallow. You'll pull through it. You'll be stronger and better than ever. Believe this……you have more help than you'll ever have to call upon. Call on me. I am here. I did it. You can do it too.
Thank you Sandi, that is very loving. I have been blessed with lots of help, I have pulled through a lot, and you are right that it is heart wrenching and hard, but oh so worth it. But there is always more to do, the path up the mountain spirals, and we always get to see new views, new nuances and subtle attachments that keep us from complete freedom. But the higher we go the more light and love there is to support us, if we only have eyes to see….blessings on (y)our journey.
