Weak Konnections

Sitting here getting caught up on Zaadz mail and re-read something I sent to a new friend. I wrote: "Inspiring to read your profile and interests! It strikes me that if everyone on the planet wrote a full zaadz profile, and we each read 100 random ones, we would actually SEE that we all have much in common, much we hope and live for, and perhaps we could actually achieve peace on earth. That is important to me."

It strikes me that I should now live that advice. So far, I have been in the habit of finding like-hearted zaadzsters by using the search engine and keywords of common interest. But no more, I will simply fly through the icons and pluck our random ones. If I am to grow, and learn to love those that are different, I can certainly start here - this is already a rather narrow subset and I can't imagine not finding a positive way to connect with members of this community. For me, the key will be to carry this into all the other areas of my life.

The six degrees of Kevin Bacon is a great example of the power of weak connections, as discussed in the book "The Turning Point". Here's to Wonderful, Energizing, Awakened Konnections.
